3D Printing Technologies
A technology for producing colored aluminate spinel-based pigments, to be used for 3D printing, using the self-propagating high-temperature synthesis method has been developed at the Department for Structural Macrokinetics TSC SB RAS.
The obtained pigments are capable of dyeing the base-polymer with the amount of 1% of the total mass. The pigments have the 1-5 micron dispersity, do not dissolve in dyed media, are well dispersed (distributed), do not aggregate (stick together) in the volume of polymer, which allows polymer to be dyed directly, excluding such a technological operation as the preparation of superconcentrate.
